False equivalency really irks me. The issue is that one party in this country has moved to the far, far right, whereas the other party has moved to the center.
It's not two kids fighting as much as it is one spoiled brat and one apathetic loner.

And what also really irks me is cognitive dissonance. To place the blame on an entire party as opposed to every party is just as bad as promoting the toxic politics America already has. How can you defend your point that it is only one party that has shifted onto a fringe as you suggest?

Being fair and being honest aren't always the same, and in this case, they're mutually exclusive. Saying "We have problems, it must be blamed on all our parties equally," while "fair," is not the truth. The Republicans have done a disproportionate amount of harm to this country's politics and discourse to their political presence in this nation.
