Well, it's usually one or the other. So which is it for you?
I personally hate it.

Lots of Dubstep is very generic, the artists tend to copy each other. Some songs can appeal to everyone, not all the artists songs but specific content. Certain artists, very few, can continuously pump out unique content that their fans can always enjoy. To answer your question, I love few artists and songs, the rest is bull.

I don't really like it because it's just computerized and it's not that hard to make but if you are playing let's say a Metallica song that's gonna show that you have skill at an instrument not a computer with pre-loaded sounds.

1 回复In my opinion, I would only listen to dubstep if it was a party occasion, and even then it tends to get a bit boring after a while.

1 回复Just getting back into it. I like it but if it sounds like the person was trying to hard to make a sick beat then no. I don't like Skrillex just because it's too frantic instead of say Nero where the song is more mellow where each sound has more purpose. Not to say I don't like some of skrillex's stuff. Also depends on what my mood is.

Love it. Here are 5 reasons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRi9A1edi8o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DzyKSyLavUY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpS7nCweYZI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcLqVfKTtKw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MylixkwKARU The last one I would consider to be an amazing hidden gem within the genre.

As with every genre of music, there are good and bad songs and ultimately that is all subjective anyway. I for one enjoy some dubstep pieces, though others I find incredibly irritating. Its a pretty interesting fad to follow though. Its sudden booming popularity is pretty incredible.
