I'll agree to that. The article I read said that Brooks is 99. That could be fine, or it could be a problem. It also said that Brooks is acting and producing, but not writing and directing. That could be fine, or not. It will be a waiting game for the next year or two to see what happens. 🤔

Don't get me wrong, I could probably quote the original word for word as I watch it (and maybe pretty close just from memory) but after so much time has passed, I feel it's one of those movies that should've left fans saying, "Why didn't he do a sequel?" rather than risk having them say, "He should've left it as it was." Still, Yogurt prophesied that we might all meet again.................

It's a large part of my uncertainty, knowing he's not writing or directing. New people should put their mark on things when they take over, but I'm not sure about how much new/different direction I could handle. John Hurt and the dancing chest burster doing 'Hello! Ma Baby!" always does it for me; just fantastic they got him to reprise his role from 'Alien.' 😊

🤣 The tandem "cheque, please!" finishes that scene off perfectly. The scene where Vespa's hair gets shot always gets me going. Especially Dot's "that was great for Rambo" at the end.

Whenever something breaks (video games, console, phone, etc....) I always think, "OUT OF ORDER?!?!?! F**K, EVEN IN THE FUTURE NOTHING WORKS!!!!!"

😆 Almost any discussion about time gets the "now? No, now. This now? No, you just missed it. Now, now?" Scene rolling through my brain. Poor Dark Helmet. Or else, "they went plaid". Combing the desert imagery gets triggered often too. I hear "comb the data" or "comb the files" and off I go.
