I have not pre-ordered Edge of Faith yet and nothing is changing my mind. The DLC comes out in a month and we know barely anything about it. And the stuff we do know is either not specific enough or very meh.

But the streamers have told us it’s amazing, so it must be true. Rick Kackis wouldn’t lie, would he? Never buying another DLC up front. Logged in last weekend after a couple of months. Did the chess event and not been back since. Loved the story in Heresy, and I think I’ll just leave the game there and just log in every now and then to chill in a strike. It’s a sad day…

But if you do a quick YouTube search, and watch a few videos by all the top content creators, I've actually heard and watched more bad videos... They seem kinda more awkward than usual before a content drop...Like they know it's not great and everything they say "kinda scares them" or "might rub the community the wrong way" is all the major changes. So I dunno... I'm just hearing wayyyyy less confidence in the game even by the top Destiny content creators of Edge of Fate. And I'm personally not feeling any hype at all. Been around since D1 and missed the year after CoO dlc

Know nothing? We basically know everything about the game changes outside of where the hidden collectibles are. Jiminy Christmas… people used to actually want to play a game to discover things instead getting told everything in the game beforehand🤦♂️

The only thing we've been told are Sandbox and some QOL changes. That's fine and all, but what about the content itself? Sandbox can be as amazing as ever, but if the content isn't worth playing, then there's nothing to use that Sandbox to engage with.
