They wanted this game dead with lightfall. Ex community manager said they hired a young inexperienced team to make it hoping it would crash & end the franchise in Sony's eyes, but people still played & Sony forced them to keep it going. I firmly believe they want this game finished. I also think they still think marathon is a golden goose, they're totally lost in their own bubble. These guys checked & verified, to Sony, that concord was a banger. I mean no surprise, or words lol. I don't think they'll grovel to get people back, I think they really don't care & want people to just stop playing so Sony gives up. Most of them are leaving next summer anyway, when the final payments hit from the buyout. The marathon director saying how marathon will be polished & finished in its year launch window, blatantly playing for time because he's not gonna be there to fix it

Considering what we have seen so far from Edge of Fate’s stream, even if they’re in their bubble, there could be a glimmer of hope for Destiny 2, which we will see it’s full extent on July, September then December on Renegade’s release… Though we are not really ready for Renegades at all… Cause i’m still shellshocked from that.
