Or you could stop expecting PvP to be something other than what it’s designed to be.
A wild concept, I know, that a game mode isn’t tailored just for you x

People who want the game to be something it isn’t laugh at me when I point out how they’ll never get what they want? Only someone desperate for validation from strangers would care or think it matters. So we know what you are now, don’t we?
-
So that means 70 percent isn’t, which makes it painfully obvious why they care more about pve. They did what they could while they could but they had to pick a lane and pve was it. Expecting the opposite makes zero sense.

...and I can also post exactly what I posted that shows I dont accept that.. very clearly.. and then you can reply on each and every PVP centered post... about how much you love Bungie and PVE... and it just won't matter. If you are so happy - go play the game. Enjoy that its so perfect for you. Go frolick. -
You certainly can, it’s not like years of people doing it has gotten those results y’all want. Unlike pve complaints. Which just shows which side seems to understand what the game is about. Oh sure, anyone who doesn’t whine about PvP sucking just loves Bungie. Broken brain right there.
well not sure how anything in my original post hurts PVE... care to enlighten?
Easy. You said linked vaults yeah? That means both studios would have to collaborate and test each others concepts to see how they perform in their respective sandboxes. So the pve team would be spending time and energy on the supposedly separate pvp content anyway. Instead of their own content and designs. Which is slower than the two teams working together in the same building. So really all you’re talking about is getting an expanded and proper pvp team to work on the crucible. Which they had before they sent them to work on marathon. And y’all were still complaining about the same stuff then as now. You wouldn’t be so dissatisfied if you stopped expecting something Bungie has said will never happen. The two modes will never be that different and pve has been the design focus since inception. 🤷

The linked vaults is a benefit to tie players into each side PVE and PVP monetarily/engagement wise... I know this is a hard concept to understand.. YES THERE IS WORK INVOLVED that is needed to change the dying trajectory of the game. You accept what they shovel in your mouth. I propose a unique/bold concept to try and refresh both PVE and PVP. I do not think PVP is acceptable in this game.. and I disagree that I have to accept that. Some of us see the potential there in PVP... That is why there is a forum.
So really all you’re talking about is getting an expanded and proper pvp team to work on the crucible.
ummm duhhhhhh.. exactly.. yes.. but I am requesting a new studio.. Bungie philosophy in PVP is not something I want and would be a requirement to make it a success. The hard work of creating the universe, movement, gun, feel and engine are there.. the management of it and future development is what I am proposing to move. -
How so? You think pve players are going to be buying pvp and playing it? Nope. Meaning they’ll be doing work with little pay off. And the pvp peolle who don’t pay for pve will cry pay to win. As usual. Success according to you. You people always say “potential” when what you mean is what YOU want. PvP doesn’t drive this game. The player numbers are always higher in pve.

its tough to see the vision.. I will elaborate. Ultimately this is a restart. When you separate the 2 you get to go back and get those you lost. That is actually of huge value in D2 in both PVE and PVP.. but now with a dedicated PVP game it is possible to market hard and get some new blood from any other PVP title.. those who have never seen the fluid movement of D2.. the way guns and even LIMITED abilities affect gameplay. Now if it was easy and without risk it would not be worth doing.. but if you can image a reset and refresh of your favorite things. If they build it good they will come... and this is much cheaper/known risk than creating something absolutely brand new.
