GG Supremacy is a nightmare to play if you're a Warlock
Nearly every match I've played this week that was against a team of hunters was a one-sided massacre that ended in a Mercy, but this was by far the worst match I've ever had. Joined a match in progress, against a team of hunters, died twice, and it ended in a Mercy with this score. I don't get it. Last week I was doing fine, but this week, we're all playing like we're physically handicapped while Hunters got 5 times faster and 10 times more accurate. What gives?

3 回复Hopefully this reply is perceived as constructive. Feel free to copy paste it on similar posts. What you're experiencing is [b] "Loose" Skill Based MatchMaking [/b]. This means you can match players significantly higher and lower than your skill bracket. Since Guardian Games requires 6 of the same class, I'd imagine the MatchMaking search would take too long to fill a match if similar skill is also factored in. Obviously there will be blowouts. If I had to guess, I'd say it's more likely that higher skill players gravitate to playing hunter, which increases the liklihood that you have lower skill teammates when you play warlock or titan. I do not believe that Warlocks or Titans have weaker 6's PvP builds than hunter. It's just more rare to find teammates that understand how to pilot those builds with high skill. I hope that y'all continue to play PvP, as the highs can outweigh the lows. I strongly advise lower skill players to queue the normal control playlist, or the competitive playlist.

9 回复Absolute lies, warlocks I fought were the nightmare, constantly using abilities at the onset of the match, and murdering everyone wholesale, floating around in the air, or scoped out in a ceiling fan somewhere, they were everywhere all at once too, and were putting out so much pressure, they made me change to a faster weapon a few times, just to try and keep up, with very little difference in the outcome. This isn't an FPS game, it's something, but not an FPS game.

2 回复It has been the same experience for me. Full team of invis hunters, spamming dodge and smoke grenades. no gun play because by the time you pull your weapon you're already blind, weakened, slowed and killed by an invisible player. I really hate this mode

It's -blam!- like this that causes me to utterly skip guardian games, Its legitimately the worst event and honestly it exposes how unbalanced the classes actually are. Not in terms of game modes but in terms of class versatility and in what each class can do and how much effort and thought bungie puts into revolutionizing the game, because if bungie is it is true that bungie is moving towards an MMO style game (which they have). the problem is that the game itself has to change with it and all of the classes and subclasses need to have options for support roles, dps rolls, tank rolls exc. The game itself also has to evolve in a way that you can't just get past a boss or a section by simply shooting the thing until it dies. Take that titan stronghold build that's been making the rounds lately, That is the best example of a new way to play the game. If there was more mechanics like holding golgeroths gaze or Nezarecks hatred in the game then that would be a far more valuable build, instead of people dissing it for not having good DPS. There needs more situations for actual dedicated roles and builds to excel and new weapons, aspects and supers to build around those rolls for ALL classes.

2 回复I main a Titan and probably faired a bit better than the Warlocks (Warlocks are my second most played class. I don't play Hunter much ,even though it's leveled up, because there are just too many hunters as is). But in GG Supremacy, I only played against Hunters. Never played a team of Warlocks in three 3+ hrs sessions. Most of the time we lost because the team of Hunters were majority RDM/Invis smoke spamming hunters. No hate to the Hunters. If I saw I had an instant advantage, I would do the same and crutch RMD/Invis/Redrix/Tommy/LW. This should show Bungie the skill gap between classes. Hunters have less skill-gap whereas Titans/Warlocks have a big skill-gap between high-skilled to low-skilled Titan/Warlock players. Titans/Warlocks are either really good or really bad in PvP...and being a Titan main, it hurts my Titan heart to see my low-skilled Titans fail so easily against said Hunters.

Went in to get my Platinum last night and BD bounties from Eva. All ok until 9:30 CST. We matched teams that steamrolled, and suddenly I was booted to orbit and no breaking up matches! These guys had obvious aimbot, rubber banding, lagging, and always knew where we were even if ai got a kill with Skulking Wolf. Yes, BattleEye was on. No rank ups, no progress in exotic cipher. Just booted to orbit after match? How? Is there a new cheat in town?

What gives?[/quote] Welcome to play against hunters it’s never a fair or balanced fight hunters are BY FAR the easiest and skill-less class to play. Being a hunter the game practically plays it’s self for u and it’s sad how that’s not even an exaggeration

The last twab so was fing condensating ..keep trying warlocks...I'd like nova bomb you in the face .I hate supremacy..it's so unbalanced...of course the other classes will win . They can take a bounty finish it in one game, and win and get another medal which means they have it easier esp if you pick up a platinum, why can't locks get an easy platinum gambit?.. meanwhile invisible hunters and unkillable Titans taking turns on me like it's my first day in prison...

Guardian Games Supremacy is very bad. 1 Hunter spamming their abilties..ok...6 of them? Come on Bungie. Where is the class balance? I tried playing on a Warlock. Damn near impossible to win against a team of Hunters using Tommy's/Last Word/Redrix with RDM. Tried it on Titan (my main class) and not much better. I want to skip Supremacy, but wanted to get the Crest Collector done. Bungie, seriously. If you don't think Hunters RDM's don't need a nerf after the massacre in GG Supremacy, you need to get your eye's and brain's checked because no one not a hunter wants to play. Downright ridiculous. I rather play comp or Trials.

1 回复Lol Supremacy exposes two very terrible aspects of Destiny 2 that have plagued the game for years… 1. Lobby balancing: The game literally places all of the best players on one team, against the worst in the lobby. I believe this is done back and forth for players based on threshold for pain, so that everyone gets that “hero” moment match. It’s how in one session, I achieved a 14.0, to get crushed in the very next match ending with a .3. 2. Class balance: The flow and tempo of the crucible always has, and always will favor Hunters. The problem is that Hunter’s do exactly what Hunters should do in the game. However, anytime, the Titans or warlocks do what they do, the majority of people who play hunters In PVP, stomp their feet and demand that the other classes be Nerfed.

Guardians games is a joke. It's either face 6 invis, 6 strand hunters and the occasional verity of their other viable subclasses in pvp. Or face 6 overshield spamming pk titans or 6 arc titans sitting back with bolt charges! My fellow warlocks are no thumbs Timmy with every turret accessible to them as they get farmed and can only secure kills via insta freeze or stasis turrets.

It's really weird that all the games I played in GG Supremacy were either won by mercy or lost by mercy. But have not played a team of Warlocks. It has been either against Titans on my Hunter or against Hunters on my Titan. I've won more on my Hunter though.

1 回复Part of the problem is that good Warlock pvp players are playing Hunter atm leaving us with a lot of pve players who get ran over. I played a bit yesterday and it was pretty brutal with us destroyed in nearly every game.

1 回复No one’s playing . I waited 15 minutes to find a control match, it was worse playing supremacy . PvP is dying. I play it everyday . This is the worst I’ve seen it.
