If it's an ongoing project made by students that'll never end/succeed, what does that make the people on the forum that fancy themselves experts who claim to know just how to fix it, annoying little siblings?
I'd say having 2 games and a mobile game spanning across 10 years and still having people playing and buying the game and its dlcs says otherwise about it not being successful
True story. Around 2 years ago there was a big explosion on twitter from people celebrating being hired by bungie, for destiny 2 & season's, the thing that stood out was they were all inexperienced/no experience, outside a few with experience. It was to my amazement that one of them, Catarina, became expansion lead (she had experience but not like this) & she said she was leading a brand new expansion team, so all the Twitter people.
Scroll forward 2 years & those teams have mostly been laid off, what remains are remnants of the seasonal teams, who now run D2, led by old head Tyson Green. A little while ago, I forget were it came from but apparently bungie hired 'destiny fans' to work on the game because they work for less & do as they're told, which seems weird other than it makes sense from a business point, from a company who don't seem to care about quality of life, quality of product. But then just this week ex community manager lianna said that bungie wanted lightfall to fail & end the franchise (I'm assuming Sony didn't know this) & weren't impressed when it did pretty well, she also said the last layoffs were planned before Xmas as they thought FS would be the end for sure. So now the cheap hires make sense, disposable, short term.
