Selling raid exotics = Kinda L. I could probably get over it, but would rather have a quest or something than just grinding for max spoils. Very anticlimactic.
Overleveling = big L. Being able to over level yourself for end game by grinding non-endgame content was always a terrible system that made no sense and I'm glad it's gone.
Raids not requiring coordination = Huge L. Literally the point of raids.
Raid matchmaking = Not an L, just a bad idea, but I'd love to see them add it just to prove it to everyone how awful it would be.
Raids are inherently exclusive to anyone. People remove themselves from that player pool for any number of reasons, but based on this forum, it mostly boils down to being scared or being VERY anti-social, and respectfully, solo players don't need endgame brought down to them. They need to start playing the MMO like an MMO or understand they are severely limiting themselves by their own choices.

We used to overlevel and it brought value to leveling in general. With that logic, getting pinnacle gear outside of raids is bad because it still prepares you for the raid. There is no point in having unlimited levels through artifact if it stops being relevant at one point. I don't understand why that doesn't make sense to you when it's been in the game for 90% of the games lifespan. And I agree. This is an MMO and people are just complaining about stuff that is tied to the game being an MMO. I will say that this game should have RNG be a GAIN instead of the main way of getting things. I still think we should have currencies that allow us to get the loot we need / want if we grind hard enough. That's also an element MMOs have. That is their version of bad luck protection. I agree with the other parts you said tho.

I disagree that it's antimclimactic regardless, but that's a matter of taste. Yes, we used to overlevel and it was very dumb lol. I'm glad they did away with it, and you won't catch me arguing against only getting pinnacle gear in endgame. It SHOULD be that way, and pinnacle power should ONLY matter in endgame, but that's a different conversation. When I say it doesn't make sense, I mean logically, not that I just don't understand how it works lmao. I'm talking specifically about being able to overlevel endgame content via non-endgame activities. It's the equivalent of Cartman killing 3 million boars to reach max level in WoW. It's just very stupid to me, and I was happy to see that system go. I don't think it should come back, nor do I think you should be able to overlevel endgame. If people wanna go feel like Gods in patrol or regular strikes, cool. Knock yourselves out, but I always found it weird that I could grind strikes or lost sectors or even crucible for a few weeks and suddenly I'm just built different against endgame enemies. Happy that's not the case anymore and I'm well aware I'm likely in a small minority in feeling that way.

由Sen编辑: 9/30/2024 7:46:20 PMI 100% agree that we should only be able to get pinnacle cap from raids. I feel like people are taking the game for granted to be able to get pinnacle cap from everything. So I see why it doesn't make sense. I believe that they should get rid of artifact level and if we want to overlevel, it should be through the gear we get through raids only. And I believe that being forced to be -5 under is bad. I personally think that master raids should have gear that can drop even FURTHER above pinnacle that grants us the ability to be overleveled OR just have pinnacle cap come from the master content in general. Normal raid/dungeon content should be used to go into the master version. I basically just want endgame to funnel into making endgame go smoother. Like how FFXIV has it with savage raids where if we get better gear, we can skip mechanics and kill the bosses faster until we get to max level/ item level and then that gear contributes to the next master dungeon or master content that grants us even HIGHER gear than the previous season. Leveling should be the incentive to do raids and dungeons and a lot of people don't know how good they have it for just logging on, doing the easiest stuff in the game, and getting to pinnacle cap.

I'd be mega down with no artifact level. I like endgame gear making endgame easier, but I think they actually did that right (at one point) with raid perks on the gear, but they shouldn't cost anything to equip. Just let them be free like artifice +3 perks. Free to throw on, and expand on them. I would favor that over being overleveled. I think there's a lot more they can do there to make those perks make the raids easier that aren't just "do more/take less damage everywhere" including things that allow you to bypass certain mechanics, which I agree would be cool.
