The player population seems to have dropped a bit, and at precisely the time skill levels were probably being solidified or whatever on the new maps. Not having trials (which everyone claims to not care about until its gone) seems to not be helping much. The control population is going to be lower because there's better playlists for a lot of people. And almost every type of player seems to be being victimized in some way according to them. People are mad about the shinies. The mass customer behavior around this game is very interesting. The player population also appears to have dropped sharply at the beginning of last week or another week so a lot of people are probably burning themselves out through the end of the previous week due to various things, especially the shiny farming. PvP and its problem with truly trash human beings probably also isn't helping. No idea how that's going to go.

The biggest problem is how people are getting tossed into matches on the losing team when they're down by well over half the score and are expected to stay. I see it all the time in the forums.
