I agree that rewards are lackluster but I would keep the shiny drop rates as they are. I think the main issue is the quantity of drops for what takes around an hour or more to complete. I was expecting onslaught rewards to be similar to the coil including the final loot room in coil. The feeling of being showered in Lot is amazing. The visuals and presentation of the loot room makes finishing the event feel special. I think they should keep the quantity of loot the same with everything except completing wave 50. If they doubled the number of chests from 2-4 in normal and 3-6 in legend, it would entice people to finish the 50 waves and not just do 10 and restart. Slightly increasing the quantity of upgrade materials would be nice as well. Keep the shiny weapons rare. I’m fine with not everyone getting a god roll and shiny drop. It’s generous they give us a curated shiny roll already.

Shiny droprates are worse than garbage rn. The RNG is way too random with some people getting 5-10 a day and other just absolutely nothing for days in a row Good way to punish people who like playing alot just rig the droprates after day 3 and make all the rats scurry for loot. Disgusting

Yeah I told people the same thing and people told me oh if you can't handle the content play Something Else. Frankly I don't understand if someone has constructive criticism why players instantly say oh you just can't handle the content that's why you don't like it. Ex it's like people in this community just do not want to hear the truth like it's gonna crush their perfect existence.. It doesn't matter what 10% or 20% of the player base wants what matters is what is best for the community best for everyone. A lot of these sweaty players are not thinking about the fact look at coil when you go platinum you get better rewards VS legend outslaught When legend is much more of a challenge. That's the one thing I noticed when bungie makes certain content to have a higher challenge boost similar to contest mode the rewards are garbage or absent. It's one of the reasons why I'm worried about final shape that we're gonna get so much good content more of a challenge but with garbage rewards.

That mode was made for streamers. Soon people will realize how bad it is and the waste of time to go there, bang your head against those mobs for about 45min-1 hour just to let RNG give you some crap at the end.

Just save up your tokens until last couple weeks . Weapon drops this week are mid.

You're not going to tell me that isn't intentional, that they didn't tone the RNG way down. And sure, there may be actual people who see regular shiny drops. Or just trolls in this thread who'll say "I get plenty of them, why don't you" or "Why should they have a high droprate" I could've ran Crotas End or whatever the weekly raid is, and have ALL RAID WEAPONS CRAFTED in the time I spent playing Onlsaught these past 3 days. With 0 shiny drops. So yeah, you may have gotten a few. You may be pleased. But try farming this activity. Like actually farming. Go in there for 4 runs a day at least. Then tell me your RNG.

Agreed, I thought that they would drop after killing the last boss. Sadly it's not what happened.
