The connections are atrocious and it literally hasn't increased the population at all, in fact, the population has dropped since it was implemented.
Again this isn't something I'm seeing on a regular basis. The latency I mean. As for the population of pvp, the number of people playing destiny has dropped across the board recently so that says more about the general state of the game, not sbmm in pvp.
As for the population of pvp, the number of people playing destiny has dropped across the board recently so that says more about the general state of the game, not sbmm in pvp.
This is actually not true. The PvP population is dropping while the overall population has stayed in line with previous seasons. The percentage of daily players playing PvP is just lower. I'd want to see the next few months worth of data too I suspect the pve figure will just again for lightfall. Thanks for that.

Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it isn't happening. The population for pvp started plummetting right when they implemented SBMM, and the general population didn't start falling off until last season. But keep making excuses to keep a cancerous system in a non ranked, casual mode just because people aren't capable of putting in time and effort to get better at the game.

Those that are created don't give any real information. Let's do some speed tests and see where people are based geographically. Let's also see if you are chewing your bandwidth up. People don't understand how network actually work, they don't know about contention ,what latency actually is. tldr Let's have some facts not opinions
Few topics??? Dude, it's literally all anyone talked about during Iron Banner lol. Jesus haha. You can't be serious. Go watch ANYONE streaming pvp and see the horrible lag.
No what I saw about IB was the grind and the cabal drop pod. I played a few games and saw no lag. Again all I'm asking for us evidence to bs k up your argument. It's that simple.

They have a vested interest in being able to stomp lower skilled players. Otherwise the cult of personality won't kick in for them. Now if you can link posts on here, more than one, if be happy to read them.
Your post tells me all I need to know about you. Lol. Have a good day man.
I genuinely hope you have a good day and wonderful weekend. If I've annoyed you, it wasn't intentional. From a 50+ year old guy with medical issues sbmm is a god send and I play more because of it. That's where I am coming from.

I like SBMM just not in casual modes. That's all. It belongs in comp/ranked stuff, but casual should prioritize connection. My connection is fine in SBMM cuz I fall in the middle with the majority, but top players get horrible lag. The worst part of crucible for me isnt even sbmm. It's the broken lobby balancing that makes uneven games all the time. There shouldn't be any need for lobby balancing with sbmm.

I did not know that about the top tier players. That's actually interesting. You're right about the lobby balancing. Thank you.

由Zinjo 2017编辑: 1/20/2023 11:52:13 PMIt makes one wonder if due to the lower population of sweats, if Bungie is giving priority connectivity to the broad player base and throttling the bandwidth for the sweaty ranks? Thus creating latency issues at those levels. By extention if you have a sweat on a fireteam of average players, the game will be laggy due to that one player's rank? Hmmm, makes a person wonder.

(would prefer dedicated) I have no idea on what you're going on about but that would be a major reason to reinstate cbmm. "Sweats" are just as deserving at a good pvp experience.
