There is one thing that will make this game a lot better and it's only two words: dedicated servers. That's it. Everything else is small compared to this issue. It will fix a lot of problems in PvP and PvE. Yes it will cost money to accomplish. More so than anything else recommended but it will make a lot of players very happy.

That would not be practicable. (Meaning the cost outweighs the impact.)

It's sad that you're most likely right, at least for the near future anyways. OP isn't wrong though, dedicated would help with lag, matchmaking, and possibly DC issues. If it had been implemented sooner, it may have made crossplay smoother at launch.

It shows a complete lack of foresight and possibly lack of faith in the IP from senior bungie leadership. They literally didn't future proof the game.

由BrandishedChaos编辑: 1/19/2023 7:33:31 PMI won't doubt entirely its possibly in the works, but I would expect we wouldn't see it till a engine overhaul. That would probably be something if they drop previous Gen and/or made a D3. I'm by no means an expert in this field, but that's how I feel it would play out from what little I understand.

Which I'd memory servers was created in the late 90s. They should have gone third party engine wise. Sadly they spent so long developing this for halo they doubled down I the late 2000s and forked imit to create tiger. I too wish there was a chance for this to go further, however their attention us on the new ip they were paid 100 mil for. I absolutely adore the destiny universe it's pretty much the only gane I play these days and the direction technology wise they want breaks my heart. Edit so many spelling mistakes, sadly too tired to correct without making more.
