Let's not forget that a couple were actually segue way to other content.
For example, the Invitation from the Emperor sets up the Leviathan raid and our dealings with Calus and the Arecibo reveals that Rasputin is trying to contact us which sets up the Warmind expansion.
I really liked those adventures. Also, the one on Titan where you could choose to save Mithrax that lead into the Outbreak Perfected quest/mission later down the road. We need more of those.
Arecibo
Loved that one. The classical music & Ghost wigging out at the end.. great stuff.
I "might" have sampled the Ghost dialogue for a dark techno track I made a while back 😉
I've always wondered what it would have been like if they continued with the Adventures, especially in Witch Queen.
We barely scratched the surface in the Throne World and for a location built on mystery, I feel that there is a lot that could have been done with adventures to further flush it out.
Agree strongly on Throne World. Especially given how big it is.
Europa as well. Some insight to the Eliksni could have been done there given the size of their buildings & the reasons they were there. It's cool to read the lore tabs, but getting the info whilst actually in the destinations is much more immersive than reading it on a screen.

That's why I enjoyed the adventures because Bungie was actually bringing the lore into the game, which is something people dinged them for not doing in first game.
As for Europa - yet another location that we know very little about outside of having to go read a bunch of lore books.
As it stands, there is fair amount of the explorable areas that where underutilized and I would have liked to seen something that gave us a reason to actually go spend time in Riis-Reborn, Nexus or even in Eternity.
