So for some reason, Every 15 minutes I am kicked because of BattleEye and Error Code Plum. Ever since I bought the 30th anniversary and recent updates, I am continuously kicked from my game where it tells me "BATTLE EYE ERROR. BATTLE EYE HAS DETECTED A PROBLEM. FOR MORE INFORMATION, VISIT BUNGIE.NET AND SEARCH FOR ERROR CODE: PLUM"
There's also a popup from battle-eye that says "Query Time-out". I have updated it, uninstalled and reinstalled twice now, I've verified my files on Steam yet it only helps for a little, before it starts up again. Does anyone know how to fix this? Bungie can you please help me?

I too have gotten this error and sent an email about it to battleye like bungie said to do in another post and this is what i got back from them to summarize even battleye does not know what is causing it they just keep referring to the FAQ which i have already done but here is the email i got from them. Unfortunately some software seems to interfere with BE on your system. Please be sure to follow the solutions mentioned in our FAQ (including adding exceptions to your anti-virus, etc.). This could also be related to your internet/network connection, which seems to have problems with the game's traffic. The BE kick is only the result of these issues. Please try to update your network drivers, check your modem/router or contact your ISP for help. If nothing helps I'm afraid I can only suggest a Windows repair install since it's almost impossible to find out what it is causing this. You can find information on how to perform a repair install for your particular system by searching on Google (for example, see https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/fix-windows-10-repair-install). Your BattlEye Support Team We hope this response has sufficiently answered your questions. If not, please reply to this email.

I think I might have found a way, My friend was talking about how the anti-virus might be the cause of the issue. So I did some digging around and found out my anti-virus was Windows Defender. (depending on the anti-virus you have) there was a section that said exclusion. I dragged destiny 2 into that exclusion and last night was I was able to play for hours and never got the error code plum and battleye query time-out. I went to settings: 'Update and Security' 'Windows Security' 'Open Windows Security' 'Virus and threat protection' look for 'Virus and threat protection manage settings', scroll to the bottom and you should see 'Exclusion' add Exclusion Look for Destiny 2 file and BOOM! that should have fixed your issue I'd recommend doing a quick reset hopefully this fixes your issue and if it does not remove your anti-virus software. you should alright

I am running into this exact same thing. Tried the usual fixes, allow the BattleEye service to run through Windows Firewall, allow Steam to check game file integrity, close every other window I have open. I have a fresh install of Windows and all my hardware is running updated drivers. Still get the error and it seems so random. I fully support Bungie's efforts to slow cheating in the game. I enjoy Destiny 2 and want to continue to play without these errors. But with BattleEye doing this crap randomly it makes for a less than desirable game!! Honestly as a customer that has dropped a pile of cash on this title they are at risk of losing me over this because it is so incredibly frustrating.

I have not had these issues for a while… But when I did, I checked all drivers for updates. The most common is my motherboard. After checking for all updates, reboot my computer and no issues. At first I thought it was my music, the only other thing I run.. nope. I ran 3d wallpaper once and got kicked from the game. I just closed it and have not tried to run it again. My guess.. as often as everything needs updated on the pc and as long as I am checking it weekly, I am no longer having said issues. If you are doing the same per maintaining your updates, then I do not know.

I keep on getting kicked by BattlEye too, even tho I have never used cheats in any sort of game. Can't even play 1 Control match without being kicked out again, so bloody frustrating. It surprises me Bungie hasn't said anything about this yet.

由GIVE EM HELLBOY编辑: 12/22/2021 5:22:40 PMIve been getting this for awhile now as well. For me its whenever I get on Destiny after playing another game. Im not sure but it may be linked to high cpu usage and the WMI Host Provider. BattlEye is so bad that it thinks youre cheating when your CPU usage is even 1% beyond normal. Does the game work when you restart your PC?
