Bring Back MENAGERIE and BLACK ARMORY
Title.
Menagerie was an absolute blast to play, and felt rewarding. We could customize the loot we got, it just an absolute blast. [spoiler](I called it an absolute blast twice: that's just how fun it was.)[/spoiler]
Forge Ignitions were similarly fun to play, and the BA weapons were *so incredibly powerful*. You know why? Because they had the chance to roll with perk combinations no other weapon had.
You seriously messed up by taking these things away. SO,
return the Menagerie AND the Black Armory, and also bring our current Menagerie and BA weapons up to the current level cap. And maybe do away with sunsetting while you're at it. That'll help make the player base happy.
Update: to further prove my point, today I pulled my Blast Furnace and Kindled Orchid out of the vault for a meme. Using them, for the first time ever, I managed to solo a Heroic Ether Corruption event.

2 回复It baffles me that people continue to request old content be brought back. It is people like you that get Bungie to re-introduce rewards for old content, then you go complain about that. Forget about old content.

As they were? No thank you. Creating a new activity that uses the same reward structures and theme would be much better. I enjoyed them both at the time. Menagerie was great for focus farming a few specific weapons. Black Armory had some of the most unique (and imo best looking) rewards across the board that could be farmed reliably, but was a bit tedious. The best of both worlds for me would be to create a new activity using the menagerie play loop and reward structure but with a black armory theme and unique, useful perk combinations on rewards.

That’s too be expected though considering that you cannot guarantee an activity will always be fun. I think most people were just a fan of the loot system it had rather than the actual activity itself.

They need a new horde mode. Menagerie was great. I know they don't have the man power they used to, but a new horde mode every 6 months must be doable surely... Something where you can grind out specific rolls or weapons, I really feel something like that would add something that will at least slow the mass exodus I believe is incoming

1 回复I spent hours upon hours grinding out my perfect Blast Furnaces, Hammerheads, etc. and I did the same with Reckoning and Menagerie etc. Not because the activities were preem, but because the rewards were perfect so I could use those guns in fun activities including PVP. To just disrespect players time invested is a recipe to disaster, especially when you just don't bring in exciting weapons and new ways to earn them. There are ways to let people access their weapons collection (because you know people have deleted those weapons) if you stop with the sunsetting BS, allow people to farm materials to pull random rolls - it wouldn't be perfect BUT you would actually gain the respect from player base for admitting the horrendous mistake. Well that would be the case if they actually cared about the future of the game, and the boss of this whole poop show actually knew what they were doing. Such a shame to think this was the same game that I enjoyed when Forsaken dropped.

Don't forget about the experimental weapons of black armory, not only the forge/raid models (same model type, just the way to obtain them was different) . Galliard-42's reskin with that color pallet looks so nice and rollling with more perks was just amazing, tbf all the weapons on that dlc were good, not gonna lie.

4 回复Sundial did the targeted loot way better. Not only did it guarantee more than one piece of gear, you didn't have to farm runes, the activity was shorter, and didn't require full team effort, and if I remember correctly, no daily modifiers that made some encounters in menagerie unbearable. As for forges, they were also not interesting, and hunting god rolls was a huge waste of time. You have to buy the frame with materials that only come from completing forges in small amounts, you can only hold a maximum of 15, and repeatable frames cost 6. Anyway, you need to kill enemies with the type of weapon you are crafing, then you only get one chance at your weapon with like 2 good possible perks after completing the forge. I hate boring grindy content, so if they're going to do it, go with the sundial type activity: short, simple, and rewards more than one piece of loot so you have less chance of receiving whatever dogshit perks Bungo throws together on a weapon

While they may be two of the best expansions in the game my data shows me that Taniks has no House. He kneels before no banner, owes allegiance to no Kell. He is a murderer, and very good at what he does. I have been tracking him since Wolves broke their chains, yes? Now Taniks works for Wolf Pack, but not for long
