Keep hitting the boss a bunch of times. I heard you need to hit their crit spot but I’m not sure that’s right. Either way you should actually see an item drop on the right side of the screen. I forget what it’s called.
Do it for the next 5 weeks and check after each run.
But yes it is annoying not knowing which you have. I was in a similar boat. Had 40% and just had to do them each week till I got it done.

You just have to hit each boss like once with the sword. Once you get it on one you haven't already, a quest indicator will appear. It's still annoying as #%&! though. It seems like they cycle in a random order. That stupid ogre is there more often than any of them. Another question along this line, what happens if we don't finish the catalyst before the zone is gone and there wasn't an opportunity to get the remaining bosses we needed? Would be nice if the catalyst completed automatically.
