For pve balance is why whisper was nerfed. Just like they do for pvp. It would be foolish to think they listen to crybabies before they look into it before nerfing. Data is what they use to determine if its deemed needing to nerf. Something that is most commonly used will get nerfed. Why do you thinks meta routate because that's what bungie is purposely doing. Trying to get the players to use different weapons. If I recall something similar to what bungie stated.

That person is right about the Ballerhorn. It literally got nerfed because everyone in lfg was making it a requirement to join their fireteam. Do ur research or if u had played the game and kept urself updated on the game you wouldve known that.
