You know that you've really shit the bed when even the clowns over at IGN are getting off by ragging on your game. What's even better is that the IGN stooge has some undeniably valid points. I wouldn't recommend giving them any clicks, but the link's there for those of you who are either a) a 76 fan who's looking to get a bit salty, or b) somebody seeking some good old fashioned schadenfreude.
To summarise—well done to Fallout 76, a game so shit that even video games "journalism" seems entertaining by comparison.

12 回复If you take the "journalists" that criticized a game for having too much water seriously I question the validity of your arguments that Fallout 76 is bad. Passive-aggressive poking aside, it's really not as bad as people make it out to be without diving into all the technical problems individuals experience. The story is actually pretty good, even if a tad monotonous at times (Backtracking to the same spot at least 3 times does that...) has some interesting characters and lots of nice lore attached to it. Sure, no living human NPCs is a bit weird, but I honestly cannot truthfully say that having living ones would change the experience much. We all ignore them the second time around at earliest anyway, so why are they important again?

Recently I bought this game for a friend since he’s a diehard Fallout fan and was gonna pick it up anyway so I figured I’d grab it first as a birthday present He said the game alone is so lonely and empty ,However he ended up joining a load of people in an Xbox Live party chat and played with them for hours and said he had an absolute blast I do believe Fallout 76 shit the bed pretty hard but It’s clear that this game was way to dependent on its fans creating their own experiences with very little to do and not enough ingame experiences left for the player to discover when the game presents them If they continuously update the game i think it’ll be great but $60 for a game in this state is a joke,I would be pissed off because I bought it however my friend is enjoying it so I’m not ,But won’t be picking it up myself for a long while

3 回复I wonder how many copies of Skyrim Todd will need to shill to make back all the money 76 lost them.

3 回复I enjoy 76, however it does have the usual Fallout launch issues. The modding community won't be able to fix these problems, I would think.

2 回复Ign sucks ass. First they prase the game, "10/10", than they bash it. Just like when D2 released.

Honestly, I don't even bother with IGN after their Mechwarrior 5 gameplay
Seriously, who uses an AC/20 on a helicopter?! You've got medium lasers for that! Don't even get me started on how badly they piloted the Atlas, didn't do it justice
4 回复Like the many Vault-Tec vaults this was an experiment, not anywhere near as successful as Bethesda were hoping but it's not awful. Personally i've not exactly got the motivation to play it much but i've had some fun with the gameplay so far.

17 回复Who cares at this point. Don't play it if you don't like it, play it if you do. Bethesda has said over and over that is is a side game and isn't how they are going forward. It was an experiment on how well multiplayer works and well, it needs a lot of work, but we all knew this would happen and I am very surprised why people are surprised it turned out the way it did.

5 回复After seeing all the hate all over the internet about this game, I would be fool to buy it. Maybe after a few months of patches it might be better, although I'm hoping to be consumed with Anthem by then.

3 回复
To summarise—well done to Fallout 76, a game so shit that even video games "journalism" seems entertaining by comparison.
Brutal but honestly true. Seeing IGN s--t all over 76 was surprising to say the least. Add to that the fact that it's already discounted in the Black Friday sales shows just how much Bethesda f--ked this all up. Coming from someone who actually "played" 76. I put that in quotations because I spent more times crashing, losing progress and watching a slideshow on single digit frame rates. How anyone can defend this mess is way beyond me.
