The masterwork cores in infusion is the only thing I agree with there. Mabye if you taken the time to read about what they were doing and how the community responded to it instead of leaving hate mail on all the bungie posts you would know that the duplicate chance for legendaries it relitivly high because you already have most of the gear and most players like the new exotic drop rates. I personally think it's great to have rarer exotics. And about the 3rd subclass bungie has said that if you can't do the raid you can still get it it's just in the raid now as a way for the best players to be able to get it.

I have been reading their responses, and honestly, it has been nothing but bs pr damage control and no action. Exotic drop rates aren’t fine. Many people are playing 200+ hours and haven’t seen any yet. That is not okay. I’m not asking for D2 year one drop rates, but the system we have now is ridiculous. It doesn’t feel rewarding. It feels like time wasted and aggravation. With the drop rates being so incredibly low, and alike you pointed out the obvious, with year one gear being the vast majority of the loot pool finally getting one to drop is not a rewarding experience. Picking it up nine times out of ten feels like a slap in the face when you see the same exotic you’ve gotten a hundred times over the past year.

I 100% agree exotics should be rare but they need to do something about exotic duplicate protection. I have easily been dumping 50+ hours a week into forsaken and only have 1 new exotic to show(Lord of Wolves BTW) Every other exotic drop I have got has been duplicates one of which was the chaperone I did a quest for which is utter bs.
