Now you're just being negative for the sake of being negative. Yes Bungie's kicked us in the teeth in the past, and they deserved a lot of the hate they got. But they appear to be making efforts to improve: give credit where it's due.

Nah. See, here's my problem. All of these changes are only happening because of the complete shit storm surrounding this game, and I'm convinced that without the negative press they're getting in the media, and their profits being impacted so heavily, they wouldn't bother with half the changes. But, the thing that really winds me up is this: they've never once apologised or even taken full responsibility for the state of the game. When all of the crap kicked off over star wars battlefront 2, dice made a public apology and they seemed genuinely upset that their game caused so much disappointment for their players. Compare that to Bungie and the way they've treated their player base over the last few months. F*ck 'em.

Dude, off topic but I logged into SWBFII day before yesterday for the first time since day 1( that's how terrible it was) to see if they did anything to fix it. As soon as it cranked up it said I had 4 loot boxes waiting...so I grabbed one. Instant Xbone crash. My whole system turned itself off. This is on a new Xbone X. I was like, yeah...ok. F it I guess. Bungie made a TERRIBLE part 2(can't even really call it a sequel), but at least it isn't as bad as that.

由kris_tunetso编辑: 2/8/2018 5:41:33 PMIt sounds like they pushed you past your breaking point. It's not that you can't give them credit; you dont want to. You think them beyond redemption so you're content to just hate on them. To each his own, I guess. Im mad at Bungie too. I spent $100 on this game and feel I've gotten $30 out of it at best. They've done a LOT that I don't like and I've been here on forums making it known and criticizing their choices. We spent years politely, kindly, constructively trying to get them to change course and were more or less ignored. When the kind word fails to get results, sometimes you have to go to the closed fist (metaphorically). Did they need the negative press? Yes, they most certainly did. Did they deserve the vitriol this forum brewed up? For the most part, yeah. But, I still care about this franchise and they do appear to be trying. Ever since they put Barrett out front, they seem to be making steps, tiny as they are, toward improving the game. In the last TWAB Josh Hamrick admitted that the Titan Shoulder Charge changes were a mistake and said they will be fully reverting them. We actually got them to admit they made a mistake, and change things back instead of trying to 'improve' on the mistake. I don't think I've ever heard Bungie admit they were wrong. That's a hell of a win for us! It's not all sunshine and rainbows. It's not like one roadmap post has suddenly restored everyone's faith and all's hunky-dory again. Talk is cheap, and they can talk about these changes all they want: it means nothing until we see it in the game. HOWEVER, the fact that they're talking about them at all is something, and the first round of changes have already been implemented. I for one am glad for the planet vendor changes: endless grinding all these months and I still don't have a set of Io arms for my Hunter. RNG just didn't favor me. Now I can just go buy them. That was a good change and they deserve credit for it. Bungie has a LONG way to go to regain the community's trust. With some (like you it seems), they never will. But looking at everything they've done these past 3 years, and how they seem to be changing course now after the backlash... they deserve credit. Even if they're only doing all this to save their company so they're not all jobless, it doesn't matter: what matters is they're trying to make the game better. If you only ever scream at someone when they do wrong, you eventually demoralize them and they stop producing altogether. Bungie are people too, and they need positive reinforcement like anyone else.

由Oinkthebaconking编辑: 2/10/2018 9:34:12 PMThe problem for me is that the roadmap only actually addresses one(possibly two) actual problems. 1) movement and boost buff. I mean, finally! 2) upcoming IB changes. I say this is a POSSIBLE improvement because they didn't say what they would be doing about it, really. 6v6 will be nice, but they haven't even hinted that they've even heard the complaints about LL disabling making it not an endgame activity, and that the token based system just isn't sufficient for IB. And to make it worse, the forum and companion app is constantly ass. It's the only site I know of where the features rarely work on my tablet, including the fact that the letters only appear on my screen while typing about four to six letters behind where I actually am. It's really not confidence inspiring, and that roadmap basically means that if it isn't mentioned there, you won't see it for at least a year. BUT I do love Crimson days. I loved it in D1, and I'm looking forward to this interesting take on it. I think they did the "stay close" modifier to make sure if you get randomly matched your random and you will stay close...he's not just going to find a rock to hide behind and leave you as easy meat.

I don't want to hate on Bungie, but the nefarious stunts they have pulled means it's going to take a long time and A lot of work for them to regain the trust of myself and many others. I hope they can. I genuinely hope that this time next year, I'm back playing the game and loving it. The only reason they could disappoint me so much, and create such resentment in me, is because I loved this franchise and wanted so bad for it to succeed. I know they are making steps to get back on track, but to me it feels like they are doing it not because of the players, or because they want the game to be the best it can be, but because they got caught doing dodgy stuff and it's now affecting their wallets. Genuine mistakes can be easily forgiven. Deceitful, disrespectful behaviour is harder to look past. Once they get the game to where it should be, once all the bad press has died down, if after that they prove they are still doing everything they can to deliver the best possible game they can, maybe, just maybe, I'll throw a little praise their way. I'm glad that you can have a more positive outlook (no pun intended) than I can, mate, and I hope they deliver everything you hope for. Hopefully one day I'll see you in the tower, but for now I'm out.

After all the hate and people screaming "f**k bungie" at every turn, it gets to a point you just assume people are out to hate if they dont express anything constructive. I don't care why they're making the changes. If it's because they want a better game, or want to save their jobs.... I don't care. All I care about is a better game, and they're apparently trying to do just that. As long as they appear to be doing things I perceive to be good, I will praise them for it.
Genuine mistakes can be easily forgiven. Deceitful, disrespectful behaviour is harder to look past.
I understand you here. It is hard to look past, but for me it's done and over with. I dont forgive what they've done in the past but Im not going to ignore or downplay their present attempts to improve simply becuase of their past mistakes. While I am happy with Bungie's change in direction and the seeming improvements, They've not yet proven to me they're worth more of my money. I'm not sold on the expansion yet. If you're looking for somethign else to fill the time, take a look at Warframe. We have had a large influx of disillusioned Destiny players over there: it might be more like what you're looking for.

The world of Destiny is worth saving: it just takes people sticking around and telling Bungie what they need to do. Maybe I'll be part of that, part of making a better game for you to return to. Cheers mate. See you starside.
