Failsafe is another good example of bad writing for a potentially interesting character. They just made her obnoxiously multi-personality without any realism or storyline. They could have easily researched people who have been isolated for long times and the mental issues, they could have had her feel more at fault for losing the crew and that could have spawned the darker personality but they just use her a throw away joke.
