Just curious because it seems like I'm the only one around here
If you do, what genre/branch and what artist(s)?
As for me, I basically listen to any EDM (except trap, I can't stand it) and listen to most of the mainstream artists
Monstercat never disappoints, though, I always end up there for awhile
Obligatory trending edit!! Wow, first time

1 回复The thing I like about EDM is that it can fit so many different moods. If I want something calm I'll usually go for tropical/deep house or Porter Robinson. I think he's doing some new stuff right now, Virtual Self if I remember. Whatever that is. Cash Cash and Major Lazer, their last 2 EP's are some of my favorite. I'm also a fan of a lot of people on OWSLA/Mad Decent. I don't know what it is, but those 2 record labels just give off a nice vibe. I guess they were just my first experiences.

I can listen to it from to time (mostly just when going out. Find it more pleasant to listen to EDM than going somewhere where they play nothing but ‘top 40’ songs playing and having some random sweaty drunk guy pretty much grinding your back) but don’t have a favourite genre. Some songs aren’t my taste, some others are but it’s not something I can listen to every single day.

I've been listening to EDM for a while now. Started listening to Dubstep (or "Brostep") back in 2011 when Skrillex blew up in popularity. From there, I started to branch out and listen to more Dubstep producers like EH!DE, Zomboy, Spag Heddy, et cetera. Started to branch out into other genres like Electro, Drum & Bass, Riddim, and House. Around the middle of 2016 was when I started getting into heavier, aggressive Dubstep (i.e. Subtronics, Sub Artillery, and Kadaver), and Deathstep shortly thereafter. I honestly think Deathstep is my favourite sub-genre of EDM and I could talk about it for hours. I just love how bone-crushingly aggressive it is.

由Braythor编辑: 1/26/2018 7:43:57 PMKinda depends what you mean. I know that might sound daft, and so is some of what I'm gonna say, but bear with me. Do I listen to and love electronic dance music? Yes. But where I live we call it that, we don't call it EDM. EDM is considered a sub-genre, and is generally looked at as being all production and no talent, designed purely to make money. As for the electronic music I do like, it's breaks, drum and bass and jungle, in that order. Even pushing 40 I still love a good rave, and though a lot of people there are often half my age, the DJs are my age or older, which makes me feel good in a way. Tomorrow I'm off out to see Deekline, Serial Killaz and the mighty Nicky Blackmarket.
