Been playing d1 since day 1 big whoop. I still think eververse has to go. Why? If you were there from the beginning you know they advertised eververse as a way to make money so they could make us extra 'free' content with a part of the money that players donated to support their beloved development team. Heck I purchased silver too. Now in Destiny 1 you'd get a cool helmet perhaps which you couldn't even infuse to use it in places where your level mattered. Maybe a cool ghost here or there or an emote. At the end I was still more impressed if I saw someone with a complete raid set or a srl sparrow that you could earn if you worked hard for it. The raid gear had great value to your gameplay while in the raid and so did the raid weapons.. Now on the other hand a raid set means little to nothing. No nice perks to help you out tackling the raid boss for the 5th time hoping to get that last piece. No weapons that feel amazing. Everything feels bland. Most of the gear now are reskins. Strikes have no cool secret specific loot drops. No more collecting ghosts or siva and discovering more of the lore destiny had to offer. No more switching your shaders over. No more exiting events like the queens or srl. No more record books. Etc. Instead we have a game now build around eververse... Some of the ghost shells have perks that influence your gameplay quite big (extra loot from all events on all planets) Amazing looking armor sets that can be used in all end-game content and is equaly good as a complete raid set. If you have a decent clan you never have to even leave the tower to get all trials and normal raid gear. Instead of collecting useful gear and weapons, all there is to do is hunt for cosmetics. Do I think that they'll remove eververse.. No. Too much money is made from it to remove it. If I could decide what has to happen is following: -Make bright engrams alot more common. I'd half the exp it takes to get one. -Give end game gear some value (helpful perks on raid and trials gear that only benefit you in they're respective end-game mode) -Make everything purchaseable at all times with silver dust. That way you can spend hours farming silver dust and then buy the set or ghost etc. whenever you get enough. Now you have 1 chance each week and if you miss that chance because you haven't accumulated enough dust you're highly unlikely to ever get it again. -I know a lot of people like the faction rally but why can't I level up every faction the whole year through like in D1? There's loads more why I'm supporting the players that want to try and remove eververse. Even if it's only to let them feel a big part of the community feels let down at the moment. And even if the community fails to get eververse removed they've allready won the battle to make something that is dear to them better. Changes will be made... I'm sure... Will they fix Destiny? Time will tell. Now I don't speak for everyone. This is only my opinion. You might think otherwise and that's fine. Sorry for the long post and spelling errors I'm not native english.. and I don't have a potato All I'm saying is that the game that previously thrived on the love of loyal gamers is gone and now only money matters. TL:DR I've loved this game since day one and I still do. But it feels like she's only been a golddigger all along.

The thing is, if you started with D2, the game is fine. Eververse is really only a big issue when it comes to these limited time events with Seasons and live events. Us Destiny vets just have memories of "better" coming from D1.
