Im done playing nice Bungie used to be by far my favorite game developer. This is true for many and this is why Destiny 2 sold so much even though it was a poor game that seemed to have zero effort put into it. Like come on. How can you release a game that has a worse pvp and pve experience than its predecessor. However The many shortcomings of the game are overshadowed by Bungie's shady and malipulative practices. This includes locking content in the game behind a dlc paywall, charging people for the lacklustor expansion in the first place, charging people for dlc while also having a microtransaction system, having a large amount of endgame loot as microtransactions, making it progressivly harder to earn free bright endgrams and then DOUBLEING the amount of xp needed once people find out. And finally releasing a christmas event as another way to charge people. This game has become more about milking bungie's fanbase dry as much as they can in a game and less about the experience. Bungie eventually you are going to realize that there is a breaking point. Your community isnt made up of a bunch of stupid kids. If you do have a dramatic change of focus destiny will just be another a story. A story of amazing potential that was squandered by a once great developer that is a shortsighted shadow of its former self.
