'Why don't you go play something else then and stop whining?'
What the people who are complaining about those complaining don't understand is this. Those of us frustrated with this game (sure, maybe not all. There are some trolls.) want this game to be exceptional and wanted Bungie to succeed. We expected much better than we got, and Bungie's attitude has been frustrating to say the least. After now 3 years of this cycle, some people are now just getting legit angry. It's not because they wanted Destiny 2 to be bad, or for Bungie to not listen. All they want is a good and fun game, with a developer who listens to the people who actually will play and support their game. At this point, besides saying stuff in the forum, its all but lost. Destiny is doomed most likely, and it sucks. Hard.
People feel taken advantage of, and that is never a good thing to put your player base into a position of feeling. Bungie can print off all the "oh, don't listen to the haters, its so amazing doing nothing but public events for no reason" comments all they want. Those people will not be sticking around either. They are still at the denial stage of grief.

The argument of 'Why dont you just play something else' is mostly saying that you got what you paid for. Most games only have a handful of hours in them, why is this one any different? If you want a game that has endless hours of content go find one, WoW has quite a bit to do. But you gotta buy the game and pay for internet and pay 15 a month for service. This game only costs 60 if you buy it new. If you get 60 hours out of it, then great for you, you paid 1 dollar per hour to play. And honestly if you are that upset speak with your wallet, stop giving their forums traffic, don't tell people to get the game, stop playing and let the player base die out. Do not buy the DLC unless it turns this into the game you really want. And finally, stop telling people they are wrong. I hated random rolled weapons and gear. If you aren't always going to have decent, middle of the road variants for sale from vendors, randomly rolled weapons have no place in a multiplayer game. And that's my opinion, it isn't wrong. Just like you aren't wrong if you like random rolls.

I don't totally disagree. What I have really been saying is this. Destiny 2 is clearly not the game people wanted or expected. Bungie is not making this game for whoever those people are, I would now include myself in this group. So I move on. I play another game, and yeah, all of that is FINE. 100%. I personally think it is a mistake for Bungie, sales wise, long term. I also personally think it is a giant shame, because of what I and apparently many others actually wanted out of Destiny over it's life. So, I voiced my frustrations and will do so at a company who I had hoped would bring about more of a rewarding game. I do agree, my presence (I'm not saying it matters, or any special snowflake type stuff like that) will disappear, as will many others who wanted a "better" grind to their game. I don't wish ill will towards Bungie or anything crazy like that, nor to the people who love Destiny 2 in its current form. The game just is no longer made for me. C'est la vie. Enjoy your extremely casual shooter, with less of a grind when even compared to Battlefield or even Overwatch. (That last bit was perhaps a tad passive aggressive, but it is how I feel.)

It's also purely your opinion. I personally think overwatch is a meme and not actually competitive. And same with battlefield, both I lost interest for in less than a week. Also your thought on their business move is most likely wrong. They have paid experts who are gonna tell them the most optimal move financially.

Of course it is. That is the point of forums. People say what they think. I never claimed either game was better or more competitve. Just that if you think about it, these super simple games somehow have a more complex "grind" and long term end game when compared to a game supposedly designed around grind and end game. This, as you stated, is in my opinion, and it is deeply concerning, to me. I just looked it up. I have 89 hours in Destiny 2. That is it. Already, 305. 1 raid completion. (For reference I had 1886 hours on Destiny 1) After 89 hours, there is literally nothing else to do. I could choose to grind for the few exotics I don't have. Which seems rather pointless. Now, take something like Overwatch. (again not claiming it is better, just that it has a better end game in mind.) Just being someone who would like to "catch them all", I cannot imagine that even with 89 hours I would be near close to having all the skins for just one character. Or if I played Battlefield, think after 89 hours I would even have all the guns unlocked and the stats maxed? Nope......... THAT is the frustration about Destiny 2. Toss me something. Which, of course, gun rolls was that something in Destiny 1.

The problem with your opinion is you dont state that it is your opinion making it come across as though your attempting to speak facts. And overwatch doesn't have an "end game" you get like 4 maps and 2 game modes and a handful of useful characters handed to you. No unlocking characters, no quest lines, no challenges, just some new skins you get 100% randomly given to you. That "game" is barely even there to start with, so how can it have an "end game". And also this is my opinion, why would I want to spend hundreds of hours grinding for something? I finally spend hours upon hours of grinding to get this thing and it's cool for 5 min and then I'm done with it because I'm fatigued of the game. Id rather have some quest lines that have some challenge and then get my cool stuff so i can use it before I get fatigued.

由Hamsterfist编辑: 10/6/2017 7:48:34 AMI don't think I have to state things as "its my opinion that...." this is a very nit picky way to examine forums or any sort of social networking. In my opinion. It should always be a given that the person speaking is speaking from only their point of view. Although flattered that I am a person you think of as some sort of expert on life and video games, I have nothing to give but from my pov and clearly from others expressing their displeasure. Now, I personally don't have a problem with players like you who play the game in the style you do. I'm not belittling you or anything like that, so don't take it personal. I'll give you some context however, at least as far as the grind being fun. For lots of players we ran strikes over and over for Hopscotch Pilgrim in D1, or other players ran Omnigul a considerable amount of time for the Grasp of Malok, and not just any GoM, but a god role GoM. The grind itself was actually "fun" and getting the reward at the end of possibly tens of hours felt very satisfying. It made the game worth playing for players who share my opinion. These players essentially were the foundation of D1 and why it increased in popularity. (Including the OG raid grind to 30.) Destiny 2 did away with any of this sort of grind. Fine for you, bad for me. It gave the game zero purpose. Yeah, believe it or not skins and stuff like that are exactly why people play games like OW and contribute to why it is successful. Bungie wanted your player type over that player type. Like I said above, totally fine. However, one player type is why games last and the other typically is a flavor of the month player type.
