I don't think the result was ever in question. I prefer the FWC but I farmed enough tokens for the weapons and shaders and didn't even bother trying to max out the rewards, I have plenty of shards as is. I'd say taking the shaders out of the event could help (get them another way) but I doubt it. If everyone jumped on the DO bandwagon making it very lopsided bungie would probably come running with the Nerf Bat to make changes. It's D2, no need to care enough to be salty. Log on a few hours a week, get my engrams that level me up and be done. Meh.
