Once you complete the Scouting Patrol Mission you are granted Scouting Commander buff... this allows you to jump higher and run faster.. I have also obtained a Commander benefits... I'm not sure if this is linked to how quickly you complete the scouting mission or if its due to multiple people in the farm all having completed the patrol. Anyway.. once you complete the patrol mission there are 4 or 5 spots around the farm that can be investigated and Ghost will tell you a bit about each location. I'm 100% positive that this will unlock a bigger secret so need everyones help in working it out.
