Destiny 2 PC Character Transfer
I use to play Destiny on the Xbox One but am considering getting Destiny 2 for PC. I am wondering if our characters will transfer from console to PC? Yes, I understand that none of our actual stuff transfers, and honestly I'm all for the clean slate. I am more wondering about the " Honours that reflect your Destiny 1 accomplishments." any information on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

I would actually pay a small fee to have my account transferred to PC from the XBOX. For some reason XBOX is dead and I have more friends playing this on PC. Basically transfer my game key and let me have at it. Even if I had to take a penalty to character level to do it. Still be worth it.

I Preordered and was hoping to make the switch to pc but after seeing how Bungie has broken the promise of a 10 year journey and now not allowing to me to show off my accomplishments on the platform of my choosing I'm done. Thousands of hours spent in the universe, the grinding to get the Ages of Triumph done all for nothing. I'm done and walk away from it with a feeling of disappointment in a group of devs that claim to hear their community but are deaf to any community not tied to Sony's console.

2 回复That's a real shame if you ask me. This makes me so torn about changing platforms. Really want to use M/KB never mind the better FrameRate and quality (We'll see when XBX comes out). Why would anyone switch to PC if what they worked so hard for isn't being transferred. It doesn't sound that technically difficult and I can't see why there would be a legal issue since they own all that content. I wonder if I'll buy D2 now or if I'll just skip it. Shame.

We also know that when they announced this on the forum it went through how to link all your accounts, PS and Xbox. All they really need is a quick retrieval of data, i.e. character appearance and if you deserve any rewards. They are also releasing the PC version much later than the consoles so it seams their trying to get the PC version right, to make it not seem like a port, at least not a big one, or they have struck a deal with Microsoft and/or Sony. 1 回复Missed opportunity for them not to allow characters to be cross-platform, I'd more than likely buy both PC and Xbox versions to play with mates if that was a possiblity. Failing that, I am also hoping that a profile transfer from console to PC will at least be a thing.

2 回复Nothing has been said yet about if/how characters will transfer from either of the consoles to the PC version of the game. If I had to guess, I'd guess there may be a game launcher of some kind that requires you to log into your Bungie.net account. From there the launcher would read your account to see what characters you have available to play. But that's just a guess.

2 回复They didn't allow you to link between Xbox/PS so I doubt they will for PC as well. However only time will tell.
