Great episode, lots of stuff to talk about here.
Exotic Quests: For me they're okay I just wish some didn't have the stupid Crucible Requirement like the Swords, it's the only reason I don't have an exotic sword. If it's just kills like the Bad Juju exotic bounty or Extoic faction class item quest I don't mind it's when we have to handicap ourselves by using the sword to get guardian kills or kills with void weapons. Personally I prefer Exotics dropping from Raids, chests and Legendary engrams over quests though.
Ingame chat: Yes, this would make patrol a lot more fun and having it in the tower would also be great.
Optional Matchmaking: They'd be morons of they didn't add it in Destiny 2. It's the reason a lot of people left and why only like 10% of the people that have played the game have done a raid. It NEEDS to be on the Nightfalls too.
Favorite Weapon since Launch: Without a doubt it's the Shingen C/E. I've been wanting a Legendary Shingen since Launch and it was my favorite gun to use when Leveling up and in the beta. All guns I've tried don't feel like it at all. I love it for it's amazing stability and lack of recoil even without perks. All Auto Rifles I've tried with perfect stability don't feel like the Shingen. Unfortunately it only exists in Uncommon and Rare.
Engrams and Loot Drops: I like the Idea of engrams I just hate that it takes up space in our armor and weapon slots. There should be a separate storage for them with a capacity of like 20 and even in our Vault. Also we should be able to fuse engrams like 5 rare could turn into a legendary or something.
Death of the Nightfall: The blue flame buff gave me a lot of incentive to play the game. Back in Y1 it was the first thing we did every week on all 3 characters. It gave me a reason to do all daily bounties and patrol because I get more XP and Reputation. Without it I don't look forward to doing bounties I just load them up and if they get done then they get done if not I'll just leave them there until they do from regular activities.

Here's the thing about the nightfall issue: Those daily bounties that you waited to do after the nightfall are now just worth 25% more and have been for a long while now. You are getting the buff, permanently. This is also a case of what the community wants and bungie listening turning out to just turn into the community complaining about change afterward, even if it's the change they asked for. People hated, and I mean HATED having to find people to do nightfalls with in order to get that buff every week (I guess making friends in game has been extremely hard for many even to this day). They came on these same forums and complained about how unfair it was to miss out on extra experience and rep because they couldn't get into a nightfall. Now, people completely forget the experience and rep buffs being permanent and just remember the flaming head and bonuses being taken away, even if half of that is false.

But it still ruined the incentive for me. I had no problem finding people on LFG for Nightfalls back in Y1 and I'm one of those people who really want Matchmaking in all modes. Without the Blue Flame I don't feel like doing bounties or going out to patrol and even if we have more XP in Bounties now because of it and I have my Exotic New Monarchy Cloak for bonus Reputation I still prefer the Blue flame. All they had to do was add Matchmaking to fix the issue not remove the buff and add bonus XP to Bounties.
So you are hung up on a cosmetic plume in your hat that was basically a "look at me" thing, got it.
And you forget it was Bungie's idea for it to exist in the first place. Screw those players that liked it, right?

No, the blue flame effect was nice and it is another reason why I liked it but I want the buff. I didn't do Nightfalls every week just for the flame effect I did it for the buff and rewards. Like I said it gave me incentive to do things and even though we have extra XP on bounties I still prefer the buff. It's like when we used to have to go out on patrol to farm mats. I prefer that to buying them with marks all they had to do was increase the drop. Now that it's for sale, drops all the time and a reward for some bounties and packages I haven't farmed or bought any for over a year.

由Kinaibhlan编辑: 3/7/2017 4:29:17 AMYeah it was a little OP but nothing compared to todays guns (at least I think). It was just the best to use at the time and it's amazing stability helped you land every shot. Also that was back when people pretty much only used primaries. I found a video showing it in use and I'm no crucible expert but maybe you can see why it was considered OP. Was it the gun or just everyone's lack of experience? Beta was the only time I really liked playing Destiny and I did have a Shingen but I liked it because it was primaries only for the most part. I hope in D2 they have a primary only or barebones mode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4nfovXTCR0
