i don't know about Efrideet's card but for thorn try grabbing it from the exotic weapons blueprints near the vanguard.

Yeah I think they fixed all these card bug in the patch for the Dawning. When that patch went in I got the Efrideet card, Khvostov Field Manual Pg.90 card and even the achievement for getting all the Iron Lord artifacts. For the Thorn card I just had to pick up Thorn out of my vault and the card dropped so this bug no longer exists from my understanding :)
