If you want a challenge and not a lot of reward
Ion/north star
If you want to smash buttons for free kills and not bothering learning your kit
Legion/tonne
If you want a cool sword and not much else
Ronin
If you get lucky with a smaller map and have a fellow Titan to watch Flanking routes

I'd argue ion is the most well rounded. Not as easy to play as tone, but definitely up there. Legion I'd argue balances out with low speed. Northstar....well, I find I get plenty reward playing her, as she's my highest level titan by about 15 levels.
