Anybody can get an ID in California. Also, when you register online, it only asks for the last 4 of your social. There are also two boxes you can check if you dont have an ID or SSN. I.D. Is needed in voter I.D. States to show your who you say on the registration to vote at the polls. In California you don't have to show it at the polls, they just run this shit like an honor system. Which is hilarious because people breaking the law being here illegally aren't gonna be like hmmm better not break the law to stop this guy from deporting me

In order to cast your ballot at your polling place, you have to be on the list. You get on the list by registering to vote. If you can't register to vote, you can't get on the polling place list, and you can't cast a ballot.
