CD Projekt Red deserve every award they get/ got. Blood & Wine is simply amazing and CD continues to be a beacon of hope for gamers and an example to other studios/ publishers ( looking at you Activision. You have surpassed EA and amazingly have become even worse. )
Glad to see critics choice went to Titanfall 2. Hope gamers wake up and realize they are missing something special.
My only disappointment is Inside not winning something. Firewatch is good but Inside was an experience.
Congrats to DS3 and it's fans. It's not my cup of tea but I get why people like it and the monster design is incredible.

I liked Skyrim's accessibility. It's my favourite RPG ever. My biggest problem with Fallout 4 (and Fallout in general) is the setting is too depressing for my tastes. Barren irradiated wastes? Gimme a fantastical paradise any day.

I agree but I'm honestly surprised you haven't played The Witcher 3 yet. I'm not joking when I say the Blood & Wine DLC was better form both a story perspective and a solid gameplay as well. The game is hands down the game of the Generation so far. Considering the base game came out a year and a half ago that is saying something

Yes, I have heard that 2 is a little bit harder to grasp but 3 is streamlined so that RPG noobs like me can make it through but there is definitely enough meat ( & difficulty settings) for the more experienced RPGrs. In the end it was an amazing story with side missions that were as thoughtful as the main campaign. It's a story that feels as epic as LOTR or any other epic story.
