Yup. I tried using a hand cannon and fusion. But in two games I had to get back to pulse and shotgun. Every single person in crucible is using, no not using, main-ing shotgun. Bungie can never fix this. Only way to fix is buff primaries but they will never do it. Some clowns even use shotgun in combined arms. I mean really, you guys are that relying on your shotgun. Sniper era wasn't even this bad. I would take thorn and last word time over this too.
