Too be fair he isn't completely wrong. This raid will only be really relevant for at most a month as the drops are high and once you have everything there is no real point in doing it. I personally don't care because i just do it to socialise with my friends that are around the country. Saying that i still think VoG will always be the raid that gave me a sense of achievement off reaching level 30 and getting my mythoclast

i rather grind my levels myself with iron banner and exotic engrams so once i start raiding i have already a high enough level , before i used to be stuck in a vicious cycle of not being able to progress because not being accepted to raids because of "insufficient" level and lack of experience , but also could not get any experience or increase light because nobody would accept me into raid before i completed normal mode i grinded myself to 385 on iron banner, so i hope i can get to max by only iron banner again so i dont have to deal with bullshit when i start raiding HM
