I honestly hate it when people do this. Play the damn strike how it's intended and spend a minute or two spamming supers with your teammates.

Did it earlier with a buddy who was afk. With my new fusion rifle from iron banner and the talent on sunslinger that makes me float in the air when I ADS this was a piece of piss and a lot of fun. Took me about 20 mins =)

Work? It's a game, that part of the strike is a ton of fun when run right...I play games to have fun, I can't always power level. I don't have a problem with people doing this...just grab a fireteam of similarly minded people so you aren't an inconvenience to people who are just trying to play.

If someone is speed running and they intentionally die to pull people ahead I just report as unhelpful and leave or stand and dance until the strike is over. If Billy Badass wants to try and run ahead and solo the boss then good luck to him.

And since you seem like an @$$, I'll throw in some statistics here. You have 91 days logged on Destiny, while I'm at 45. I'm a day 1 player and even played the beta. I've always been on the leading edge of light level and progress in terms of gear and yearly triumphs. I'm currently at 387 with one character while maintaining a 4.0 in graduate school, working full-time and balancing family values. Your way of "doing things right" clearly doesn't fit my lifestyle and seems inefficient. Now, if cutting corners means pissing off people like you, I will hold my head up high and continue to do so. So you wouldnt hire somebody that does a job right but you wouls hire somebody that cuts corners. Yeah that sounds like the corporate world tipping chemicals into water sources because its cheaper to pay fines than to pay for disposal.
