Here's another thing I want to bring into this discussion, if they resurrect a guardian, do the guardians still have memories of their past lives? It'd be interesting to see Bungie make a quest or dlc that Diggs into that. Maybe you could visit the guardians old home before the collapse you walk up and have horrible flashbacks of what happened there. Maybe the quest would give you an exotic gun or piece of armor or an artifact. That the guardian used to own before their deaths.
