Because that's a measure of throughput and has 0 to do with latency. If your connection is handed off 100 times before it hits your house, latency becomes an issue. There is a delay at every hand off. As the number of hand offs go up so does latency.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!! I am a really competitive player from 2006. And then some people on this forum telling me that i'm bad, because of my 1.1 k/d. If Destiny had dedicated servers, my k/d would have been at least 3..........the same i have on CoD. And k/d is important, because every competitive players looks at your k/d first when i'm looking for somebody to play Trials with.
