I thought Yor was a warlock. On all the thorn cards there's a picture of a warlock, and on all the TLW cards there's a hunter.

The cloak to me is an indicator that Yor was a hunter, and I think somewhere a representative for Bungie or someone working with them said he was a hunter.

nope. He was a hunter, "the cloak of Dredgen Yor" crucible drop is proof enough of that. Perhaps they do that to show how polarly opposites they were.
