Bungie will never abandon even a sinking ship. They are too power hungry with DLC. It's like when a pirate goes down with all his treasure into the deep abyss rather then run with his life he dies with his treasure. They are going to do everything they can to make money especially since they screwed up the DLC and sequel launch date and fired their CEO.
