Either a solar flare will wipe out our technology and we'll kill each other off for resources or rising temperatures will flood a large amounts of land mass, forcing humanity to stack on top of itself, and we'd also kill each other off for resources

2 回复Well,[spoiler]our solar system is on a crash course with another solar system. In about 5 billion years I think it was, our solar systems will collide. When the black hole in the middle of each solar system collide it will wipe out EVERYTHING in both solar systems. Ultimately, it will be another big bang sort of thing and our solar system will restart but be much bigger. Our solar system gas collided with many other solar systems but the black hole in the middle of ours has kept ripping apart the other solar systems. This "dooms day" solar system has a black hole bigger than ours. In other words, our solar system will meet its match bringing us all to a really epic explosive death.[/spoiler]

Odd wording you chose, but Earth will no longer be a planet in about 5 billion years from now when Sun enters its red giant phase, gradually increasing its radius to end up engulfing Mercury, Venus, and Earth. Human life, however will have to leave the solar system much sooner than that, as over the course of a star like Sun's life, it will gradually increase in luminosity. Luminosity is energy output, and the more energy Sun outputs, the more heat is dissipated. In about a billion years, Earth will be as hot as Venus is now, leaving it uninhabitable.

Or, an uncontrollable virus [i]finally[/i] wipes us out. The planet Earth will be destroyed when the Sun expands to a red giant and melts the Earth.
