I also hear it from my half brothers a lot that kids are still cut throat and discriminatory in their groups. It's a tough line to walk, honestly. I wouldn't want to force children to play together if they don't like one another, but allowing the "you're different from me and therefore a loser" mindset to grow leads to the type of kids you see here.
