Many clues in the lore actually point to something exo-related on there, so it might be the origin of the Deep Stone Crypt (DSC is a subroutine that seeded exo consciousness, and not necessarily an actual place. The fact that the exos dream of killing everyone they ever met there suggests it isn't real.) - Mercury. A Vex machine-planet part of an intergalactic network? Yes please.
