I provided the code to a friend of mine to start the Refer-a-Friend quest line, but when he logged on to register we both get similar messages. Mine specifically states: "Your friend has yet to purchase and play Destiny: The Taken King. Once they have completed the necessary steps, you will be Linked Friends." He did not buy the game through Bungie, but he did meet all the necessary steps in order for this to work. I've read others have had the same problem. The 7-day grace period will end now and we can't get this done; please help to fix this.
