I really do exactly know what you mean and i do have the same opinion about it especially since most of the boys (in the internet even worse) trying to distinguish themselves by telling rude things about the "female" target in front of their buddies, which just shows they dont have and never got taught any respect. And this group / clan is more likely to give them a chance to avoid those situations
But what i was about to say is that you shouldnt exclude boys completly but maybe give some of them a chance (you should check them out before ofc) since e.g. in my opinion i do prefer playing with girls since i feel mostly the same way about those unrespectful situations while playing with most boys

Even if a person is "checked out" prior to allowing him in there are just some gamers out there that feel uncomfortable with a male present. This could also potentially cause internal problems for those members who joined when only people who identify as female were let in. What people have to understand is that this isn't the only clan around. There are hundreds more out there for you and others to choose from that don't require you to identify as female. Find one that suits you and your preferences. So don't take it personally. It isn't a judgement of your character or anything, this clan just isn't for you.

It's not that we hate boys,this just isn't the place for them.Allowing boys into the clan at this point would make some of the girls feel cheated.It'd be a bait and switch recruitment tactic. They know what this clan is and they joined it because they agreed with the rules.It'd be unfair to all of our clan members to go changing them in such a drastic way. It sounds like you're assuming that just because someone is a member of this group, they don't have male friends or won't play with male players. While there may be some folks that feel that way, it's certainly not a requirement of our group and many of us do have great male gaming friends. That doesn't lessen the value of this type of safe space, however.
