I thinks it's awesome when your not expecting much when you get on and then BAM new exotic...beats the grind some had to endure for exotics like the gjallarhorn (misspelled?) and other sought after exotics.

1 回复I prefer earning my exotics like in year 1. Now everybody is handed exotics like hot garbage. To each his own I guess

3 回复由Hyrune编辑: 10/21/2015 10:45:15 AMTime gated exotics: why not but I don't like the idea of "one day only". If we miss it, we have to wait until the next one. I was playing crucible yesterday when at midnight I was killed by a "No time to explain" and then WTF I've to check the forum and do the quest now or miss the one chance to get it.

2 回复I think it's arbitrarily put in so that people keep playing their game. I can not wait for Fallout 4... Soooo freaking done with this game after F4 drops.

2 回复I don't mind the timegates, I really don't. Like you the surprise is cool. Yesterday, I land at the tower, and to my my surprise, FWC has something for me, it brings a level of excitement to the game. My problem however, is the lack of transparency. People wracked their brains for weeks over the SS, theories were out all over the internet, Spin foil hat sales were at an all time high, and this community was hard at work with their theories on where the gun was hidden. Bungie even released clues on the internet to make people think the SS was out there, still waiting to be found. And then one day, boom, quest available so long as you had found the little broken fusion rifles up to this point. What everybody believed was a well hidden gun, turned out to be nothing more than a time gated exotic. If they want it time gated, fine, it really doesn't bother me. But be transparent. Let people know what's not avaiavle yet, and don't troll people by leading them on.

I like the idea that exotic weapons can be collected through quest lines, what doesn't sit right with me is the thought that this is all content cut out of the original release of TTK just so players would play the game for longer. The fact is I love playing Destiny, and I would of played this long anyway without the time delayed missions.

6 回复I don't like it at all. Having to be on, because bungie decides to release something without notice. It should be available whenever people have time to do it. I paid for ttk content, thinking it would be great for spending my free time. Instead bungie tries to decide for me when i should be on. Absolutely terrible.

SmoopertHaving fun! :D - 旧
Getting an exotic is supposed to be exiting. Getting a quest on a certain day of a certain week to do another certain thing that will make me wait a week or two and then I will get a certain exotic. It's boring, it's stupid, and it takes weeks, not because it's hard but because it makes you. -

5 回复But it's not fair to those who didn't happen to be at home on the day these special quests activate. I was away from home on the day for Sleeper Simulant so I guess I just have to wait for that to come round again? And the first I heard about No Time To Explain was reading these forums this morning. So I missed any chance of that too.

I haves loads of free time ATM (between jobs) so I can get them all but some players are busy people and can't login whenever the game wants them to. Timegate the content to your hearts content, but maybe give a longer time window for people to acquire it. 3 days maybe?

2 回复I like how most people spell Gjallarhorn wrong. You get it right, but are unsure of it.
