I don't think you realize the higher level gear is locked behind PvE. You complainers of PvP are the most annoying people; get into a fireteam, communicate, and beat the quest.

It's not that I can't beat the quest, it's just that it's not fun for me. Minor inconvienience I know. But then you have to think about the random people I join up with. I don't hesitate to sacrifice a win if it means completing my quest. This could ruin someone elses experience (and I believe a few have already complained about just that on this very thread). Back in year 1 I would just join a PvP match, dance in the corner and let people kill me because all I wanted was the crucible marks. I'll do what I have to do to get what I want (I've done just about all PvP related quests there is from year 1 and year 2), but you have to wonder if that doesn't ruin someone elses PvP experience who are actually playing it to enjoy it.
