You just gotta truck through it. Because think of the PvPers who don't necessarily play PvE as much (which is admittedly weird). I'd say 70% of a questline (for an exotic weapon for example) are PvE steps while the remaining 30% is PvP. So suck it up, no one's forcing you to do anything!
