I don't understand why everyone is working so hard to find ways to exploit these, just play strikes or whatever you normally would play and pop them when you're about to kill a boss, pretty simple.

Because the community like to cheat the game, then when Bungie removes/modifies things people get angry, yet to keep them in or keep them the same would exploit the game that badly that we'd ruin the experience for ourselves. Something like that

I don't get it either, but then I play for fun. If I felt like it was a grind that I had to get out of the way as quickly as possible then I'd probably stop playing. Some people have fun firing blindly into a cave, I prefer to explore and find new exciting things, I'm cool with that, even if I don't get it.
